According to officials with the Asheville Police Department, they were called to the area of Biltmore Avenue for multiple people who were shot.

Phillip Sheppard Jr. was fatally shot July 5 in a downtown Pensacola shooting. Six other victims, ages 16-26, are expected to survive.
