Sand leveling series: part 3 I’m not actually turning my lawn into a beach. This is bermuda grass - a warm season grass that is often used on golf courses. It loves the summer head and can grow aggressively if treated right. I am covering my lawn with sand to promote drainage and even out the low spots. This will help me get low, precision cuts with a reel mower to make this backyard an even better place for outdoor family activities. 5 days post leveling and the grass is starting to recover and
