La única forma en que puedes verme es con un microscopio. Mido entre 0,3 y 0,4 mm, y como las arañas, tengo 8 patas. Me gusta vivir en los folículos pilosos que tienen tu nariz, mejilla y pestañas. Estos son lugares donde hay más grasa para alimentarme. Me alimento de tus secreciones y de tu piel muerta. Puedo poner hasta 25 huevos en cada folículo
