Move over sneezing panda, our cub's yawn is pretty cute. Our giant panda cubs are now 12 weeks old. Both are now over 3.5 kg and continue to develop in size and strength. As the cubs continue to grow, the keepers have noted they have started the teething process. We were actually able to capture evidence of this as seen in this quick video of one of our cubs yawning. We are head over hooves here at your Toronto Zoo with the birth of a Masai giraffe calf 🍼🦒 The calf arrived at 1:26am on Sunday, February 22nd and was already standing by about 2:00am. Both Mom and baby have been doing well and were left to bond over the weekend. The first health check, conducted Monday morning, showed things are looking good for the “little” calf who measures about 6 foot 4 inches, or 1.95 metres.
