Busy, busy, beavers! If you’ve ever visited Ward and June, you may have noticed that they have their very own “beaver lodge” within their habitat. Keepers provide them branches to chomp on with their strong teeth and as it encourages their natural behaviour to engineer their own custom-made dams that they access from underwater. Move over sneezing panda, our cub's yawn is pretty cute. Our giant panda cubs are now 12 weeks old. Both are now over 3.5 kg and continue to develop in size and strength. As the cubs continue to grow, the keepers have noted they have started the teething process. We were actually able to capture evidence of this as seen in this quick video of one of our cubs yawning.
